ADG hires Engineer to Grow Firm’s Service Offerings
John B. Semtner, PE, BEAP, LEED AP+
Architectural Design Group, Inc., an Oklahoma City-based architecture, interiors, engineering and program management firm, is proud to announce that John B. Semtner, PE has recently joined the firm as Director of Engineering Services. Mr. Semtner will guide the firm’s engineering responsibilities on various design and management projects including new contracts for the University of Oklahoma and the Chickasaw Nation.
The addition of engineering to the firm’s stable of professional services expands ADG’s strategic vision of offering clients multi-discipline assistance for integrated project delivery.
John B. Semtner, PE, BEAP, LEED AP+ – Director of Engineering
As Director of Engineering Services, Mr. Semtner is responsible for the review of mechanical systems design for ADG and ADG Program Management. In this role, he is currently working on the master plan for the Chickasaw Nation in the city of Ada, and the MAPS for Kids 2007 Bond Issue program. His addition to ADG’s roster reflects the firm’s continuing commitment to offer professional design and program management services to clients in multiple industries.
He is a Professional Engineer and a LEED Accredited Professional, who has been a project team member on many LEED building projects in the past. Mr. Semtner is the only Building Energy Assessment Professional in the state of Oklahoma (credentialed by ASHRAE, the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers). His responsibilities have encompassed the design of complex mechanical systems. Previous project experience includes designing mechanical systems to meet the high standards of aerospace and military installations. Mr. Semtner earned his Master of Science degree from the University of California at Berkeley and pursued an advanced course of study in aerospace and business at Stanford University. His Bachelor of Science degree was granted by Lehigh University and he is a graduate of Bishop McGuinness High School.
