Mike Sottong
Mike is a registered landscape architect with extensive knowledge in project management and client coordination. He wears many hats being responsible for construction observation, coordination (between contractors, consultants and city departments), creating and reviewing field reports and reviewing RFIs. Mike is our guru for cost estimation and budget development, CD documentation, design development, presentation graphics and detailing of hardscape elements and planting plans.
He has managed municipal projects beginning in early design phases that continue through construction administration, to project completion. Some of Mike’s work includes MAP 3 Scissortail Park, Duncan Heritage Trails and the Yukon Comprehensive Plan.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from Oklahoma State University and is on the Professional Advisory Council for the Landscape Architecture Department. Mike lives in Oklahoma City and is an outdoorsman who loves canoeing, fishing, hiking and archery. When he’s not outdoors he’s reading the latest Sci-Fi and horror novels.
